The initial objective for the spring program was to provide support for our struggling middle school students, offering possible credit recovery. Students worked hard to improve their grades, and since all were passing, the objective of the spring program was modified to their greatest identified need: Social-emotional learning through ʻāina- and place-based education.

Projects included stream restoration, moʻolelo and wahi pana digital documentation, and mapping a timeline/moʻokūʻauhau of our Mālama Honua Public Charter School.
