Did you know that Arizona State University offers over 136 degree programs online and that number is expected to grow? ASU, having significant presence and success in digital/online learning, serves as a key partner for Kamehameha Schools in achieving our short and long term goals. ASU has developed an ASU Local model that provides college students of all ages the opportunity to take advantage of ASU Online (ASUO) offerings with local face-to-face support in their own community.

KS and ASU are committed to keeping ‘ike kūpuna (ancestral knowledge) alive through place-based learning and community engagement. Working together, ASU Local will bring another option for education to Hawai‘i and help meet the growing needs of our lāhui (community).
