Program Information:
The Miloliʻi Lawaiʻa ʻOhana Camps (LOC) have been held in Miloliʻi for the past 11 years, since 2011. These intergenerational camps perpetuate the deep connection and relationships our kūpuna and community have with our kai (ocean) and ʻāina (land) scapes.
The camps are an important way to pass on moʻolelo, wahi pana, traditional fishing, and gathering practices between generations and with the broader community. It is also an important time to share about the status of our resources, rules and regulations and now that we are implementing our marine management plan, it is one of the largest gatherings where we share about our stewardship efforts and celebrate our practices.
