Program Information:
Nā kilo o Miloliʻi Summer Enrichment Program is an extension of Kawaikini NCPCS Manokalanipō curriculum (9-12).
*** Preference for admission into the program will be given to Current Kawaikini NCPCS 9-12 grade students. ***
The program seeks to extend studentʻs relationships from Miloliʻi ma uka to the kai area. Participants focus on assessing the natural and cultural resources of the ahupuaʻa of Miloliʻi, Kauaʻi in order to help build a sustainble and productive ʻāina.
Students will learn about natural and cultural resource managment through service porjects in the ma uka and ma kai areas of the ahupuaʻa alongside various community partners including DLNR Natural Area Reserve Systems, State Parks, Nā Pali Coast ʻOhana, and Nā Maka Onaona.

Promote and perpetuate ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi and Kuana ʻike Hawaiʻi
Build an ethic of Aloha āina and Mālama ʻĀina
Expose participants to the natural and cultural resources of Miloliʻi, Kauaʻi
Introduce participants to various entities managing cultural and natural resources of Miloliʻi
Foster team building and mentorship
Practice ʻAi pono and Ola Kino
Water/ Boat Safety Training
