Program will consist of the followin:
1. Planting 1 acre of kalo for poi.
2. Harvesting Kalo weekly for consumption.
3. Students will prepare 5 lbs of kalo wkly for their ohana to eat.
4. Collect data to see if kalo consumption changes behavior, weight loss and overall health within each ohana.
5. participants will learn the values of mahi'ai kalo and will be able to plant their own māla at home.
