A summer program with an emphasis on place-based, hands-on cultural experiences, community service projects and character development. Because program will be run in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, preference will be given to keiki that attend Kawaikini or are known to be ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi speakers.

Participants who completed the Spring training will man an informational booth about Hawaiʻi and Aloha ʻĀina and present as leaders of a cultural workshop on Hawaiian practices and aloha ʻāina issues at the Ola i ka ʻĀina - Mohala Nā Pua: Hōʻaʻala hōʻike summer event.
