Testimonials:

"Our Kumu Kehau, Sam, & Bella were exceptional! Very knowledgeable, energetic, kind, and fun. They kept to a schedule, let us know the plans for the day and what we would accomplish by the end. They encouraged and assisted in learning about native mauliola, respecting the ʻĀina and one another, and to continue to seek knowledge.
We look forward to more programs."

PROGRAM OUTCOMES:

The learning outcome achieved for this program was having both keiki and ʻohana build a pilina and understanding of ʻike kupuna, and fostering “a healer in every home” model.

The learners were able to connect and get rooted in pule, oli, mele, lomi, lāʻau lapaʻau and ʻōiwi leadership. Our goal was to create a space and consistent nourishment for keiki and families to normalize Hawaiian values and build a solid foundation.

The hōʻike gave keiki a chance to showcase what they learned by leading in pule, pīkai, lomi, mele and ʻōiwi leadership.
